This policy allows the policy holder to collect a payout at the end of the specified policy contract term. If the insured person dies before the policy contract is over, their beneficiaries receive a death benefit. It is a policy that has both components for savings and death benefits.
The minimum term is 10 years. If death of the insured person occurs within six years from policy inception from any causes other than an accident, a refund of premiums plus 4% compound interest is payable.
No medicals required.
The additional benefits are optional to the policy holder at a very minimal fee which is added to the monthly premium. The Policy holder can choose to buy all these added benefits based on preference.
The benefits are as follows:
Double accident Benefit (DAB) is a benefit providing for payment for of an additional amount equal to the sum assured (excluding bonuses) of the policy if death or disability results directly from an accident.
Disability Capital Benefit (DC) provides payment of the sum assured of the basic policy (including all declared bonuses)on total permanent disablement and waiving of premiums on temporary disablement.
Disability Waiver of Premium Benefit (DW) provides for the waiving of premiums due during periods of on temporary or permanent disablement.
Money tree is a supplementary which provides for the payment of a cash benefit on survival of the policyholder on every 5 th policy anniversary. The amount of benefit can be 10%, 15 %20%, or 25% of the sum assured of the policy as selected by the policyholder.
